Thornhill is split between Vaughan and Markham. Does that change my income tax or HST?
No. Federal and Ontario income tax and the 13% HST apply identically on both sides of Yonge Street. The Vaughan-Markham boundary only affects municipal property tax bills and local city permits, not your CRA filings.
